Investors in the technology field will come to Tehran from 11 countries

During the meeting, entitled “technology investors’ meeting (TIM2020)”, investors will attend from 11 different countries. These investors will be at two rates of “angel investors” and “venture capitals” and will evaluate the Iranian technological projects for investment.

Unique opportunities, such as abundant and economical work force alongside low-cost knowledge-based products have attracted foreign investors to consider the Iranian-based science ecosystem despite unilateral sanctions. At the event, investment opportunities in other countries will also be shared with participants. Investors in the meeting will discuss various areas such as fintech, health, tourism, computer games, and food industry, and will assess the existing proposals and opportunities.

Other events at the event include specialty panels, workshops and international investment opportunities.

The second TIM will be held February 4th-5th, 2019.

For registration, you can refer to TIM.d8tten.org.

The president of the national technomart of Iran emphasized the necessity of administrative boldness considering export markets in other countries, expressing: export opportunities should be considered one by one and Iranians abroad should also be assisted in exporting knowledge-based ideas.

The president of the national technomart of Iran added: market technology facilities are not limited to knowledge-based companies, and all technology units that are not knowledge-based companies can also use those facilities.
